Cake Smash

When should I book my baby’s session?

Please book your baby's cake smash at least 8 weeks in advance, as I need time to place orders for set elements, wardrobe, and a cake designed by one of my favorite local woman-owned small businesses.

Book four weeks prior to the cake smash session time for a Semi-Custom or Minimalistic Cake Smash.

If you schedule your baby's session three weeks before their birthday party you will receive your gallery and be able to order any prints/products you may wish to display at the party.

What kinds of products are recommended?

Although loose prints are always a great choice, I recommend a beautiful heirloom album that preserves all of their images in archival paper that is said to last 100 years.

What themes do you have available?

Session themes are exclusive to the Custom-Design package. For the Semi-Custom and Minimalistic packages, pre-determined color schemes are provided for you to choose from.

Milestones

When should I book my baby’s session?

As soon as your baby is able to sit unassisted for short periods of time, you should schedule his or her session to ensure availability.

What should my baby wear to this session?

You will be able to select clothing options from my Client Closet, or provide an outfit of your choice.

What should I bring with me?

The prep guide recommends you bring their favorite items from home to personalize this session for them. Until we look back on photos years later, we often forget about the little things like their favorite book or bedtime lovey. The precious memories are treasured as family heirlooms, and it is a privilege that their stories are passed down generation after generation.
